Swapntej is built on lived experience- not just in travel, but in studying, working, and growing across cultures. Our founder Swapnil Bhujbal has spent over 15 years in Europe, earning a PhD in Biomedical Engineering in the Netherlands and Luxembourg, followed by research work at institutions like Norwegian University of Science and Technology and University of Southern Denmark.
Alongside academia, he has worked across IT, consulting, and business development in India and Europe (Denmark, Belgium)- gaining a practical understanding of how industries function on a global scale. Having traveled extensively across Europe, the USA, and Canada for conferences, collaborations, and professional engagements, he understands what truly makes an international experience valuable- not just the places you visit, but the people you meet, the conversations you have, and the perspectives you gain.
This journey is what shapes Swapntej- bringing together academic depth, industry insight, and a personal understanding of what meaningful global exposure should feel like.
